White paint can be so hard to pick, but it can be fun to experiment & test in your own home too! You know I love white paint & over the years I’ve done a lot of studying of undertones, lrv [light reflective value], & how different white paint looks different room to room. I truly enjoy testing new paint colors & so I thought I would share some tips I use every time I go to pick out white paint. The color I’m using today in our front living room? It’s actually @behrpaintcolor of the year: blank canvas. As soon as I saw the announcement I knew I had to try it! It’s a warm white without being too yellow. It’s comparable to BM white dove to me & it’s totally warmed up the space already even though the room is far from being done. It was pretty dark today when I shot this, but stay tuned to my stories, blog, & feed for progress & more of this paint color. Here are a few shots I took of the paint half done in our living room yesterday & 4 tips to help you pick the PERFECT white paint color…

I hope these 4 tips help you the next time you are picking out white paint colors. It can be a daunting task, but after a few times of practicing these 4 tips it should come more natural to you! Thank you for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to. I will be back with more paint updates soon! xx
