I was cleaning the kitchen today to and realized that it’s April and we are in the full swing of spring. I haven’t shown our kitchen lately so I thought a spring farmhouse kitchen tour was in order. I mean, it’s clean so what better time right? I’ve also added a few springy things to the kitchen so I hope it inspires in some way today.

I feel like I’m constantly prefacing the kitchen with saying “it’s a work in progress” but alas, it is. Rome wasn’t built in a day right? Neither was this kitchen, but the good thing about our kitchen is that it’s cozy in every step of the process. One thing I added to the kitchen for spring was a rabbit sign that I got a few years ago from our shop. You know my love for rabbits runs deep and we always have them in the farmhouse, but I love to show them off even more in the spring.

Of course plants, a good spring cleaning, and a few fresh finds like that giant antique scale make the kitchen feel new and ready for the warm weather. We are currently doing a few DIYs in this space that will make it feel even more new, but more on that later. For now let’s just sit back and appreciate a clean kitchen for a few minutes. My next spring cleaning project will be organizing the back of that kitchen island . . . can’t wait to show you that!

Head to your local greenhouse and pick up a new plant, put a bowl of fruit out, switch out some of your décor, and freshen up your kitchen for spring. I hope our spring farmhouse kitchen inspired you in some way today. How do you like to freshen up your spaces once the seasons change? I would love to hear on Facebook or Instagram. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog, pinning our kitchen, sharing it, and just being here.
