For my post I wanted to share the DIY log candle holder that the hubs and I made for our christmas decor this year. It’s a really simple project that can bring so much character to your decor. Also, like us, you may have the items already laying around your home so it’s FREE! Free is the best right? Here is how we made it…
We had these logs lying around from our summer fires we had in our backyard fire pit & I knew I wanted to incorporate them into our Christmas decor so we decided to make some easy candle holders. We measured the logs & divided them into how many candles we wanted in each log. After we had the logs measured & the spacing figured out we took 1 1/4″ drill bit and the drill to drill the holes in the logs for the candles. After that we simply just placed in some tea light candles that we had. This project was essentially a free project & I think it makes a huge statement!
So what do you think of our DIY log candle holders? I love them because they are so simple & they can transition from our Christmas decor into other seasons as well. That’s a great thing.
