Such a wonderful blog post! I can’t wait to see what color you choose next, as I’m sure whatever you pick will look amazing!!

Could you please tell me where you got the wood bowls/trays?? Are they from Creative Co-Op? They are amazing, and I would love one for my diningroom table! ❤

Personally I love them & the contrast against the white. On my screen they look to be a warm green/gray color. But I don’t have to live with them so it will be interesting to see what you do.

I so appreciated your blog today. Your transparency about not getting it “right” was so refreshing. I kept wondering if it was my screen showing it more green grey than blue grey. And some people would love it but you are the ones living with it. I have yellow in my main living areas. A friend suggested I paint the walls white. But I love the cheerfulness of yellow. I have a lot of white trim & I’m happy.
    Thank you!

Liz, you have a wonderful husband who seems to have a lot of patience & understanding when it comes to painting (or repainting in this case). My husband is the painter in our house and doesn’t like to paint anything twice. I’m afraid I would be stuck with it if I didn’t like the color OR I’d have to repaint it myself ? I do LOVE the color you chose but also understand where you see a lot of green showing through. Cream or an almond color sounds lovely. Can’t wait to see what you choose!

Oh I just love to hear this!!! I think we all need to know that trial & error is the name of the game and that what works for one doesn’t necessarily work for another.
I cant wait to see what is next;)

I’m an interior designer by trade, and I know precisely the feeling of not getting it right the first time. That said, I absolutely love the paint color of the built-ins! As another reader stated already though, what we see on our computer screens maybe isn’t what you are actually seeing in your home. Do whatever makes you the happiest!
