Thank you for these tips! I know what I’ll be doing later……. online antique shopping! I want those huge, beautiful white chippy corbels that are hanging on the wall in one of your pictures. Are those by chance at The Found Cottage and available for purchase?

IMO- one of the very best things about stores being currently closed is that if we pay attention we can see how much money we totally waste on things we do not need in our homes or lives. Consumerism is out of control and our landfills over flow with peoples whims and desires to be in style. Vintage items stand the test of time and often hold some resale value should we need to gather a buck here or there..Folks do not need to have the latest and greatest item or style to have a charming, comfortable home. Current trends soon end up in the landfill. One must ask themselves why the need to constantly shop? Somethings missing inside when we strive to constantly stay on trend with our clothing or home fashion choices. How our heart is dressed is of more importance IMO.

Love to see photos of your sweet animals. Nice blog.
