I was so interested in what you would do about the exposed wiring. Relocating them would have been a nightmare ?

Can’t wait to see what you do with these rooms! P.S love the new chandelier above your table.

At first , to be honest here; I was worried about the look. The cables and exposed pipes , stressed me out. Then when I saw all of it painted, it all made sense and I really like it. ♥️

  4. Jacque says:

Are you going to cover the sewer pipes? Love the look.

We did the same thing in our living room and nursery! We live in a farmhouse from the early 1900’s and have the low 7’ ceilings upstairs. What is worse, the old home owner textured the crap out of the drywall- pop corn cowlings x 500 (literally)… I have advocated for us to just paint the exposed beams in the living room, as my husband spent so much time and effort wrapping every beam in the nursery above. This really helped him see my vision, although he still wants to clean up the wiring and hide them behind molding.

Will you be leaving the ceilings as is? Or will you be tidying up the plumbing and exposed wires? I can’t remember if you can see the wires in your kitchen? ?

Really love the look!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!❤

There are parts I like but I struggle with seeing all the business of the pipes and all the wires. What are options to address those?

  8. Marla says:

    LOVE IT!!!

Did you post the white paint color?
    Maybe I missed it?!?

    Thanks for sharing!?

Sorry not a fan at all. I can’t see why you would have wanted to do this. Your home was beautiful and I understand the constant redecorating for your blog, but it just seems like you are never ever going to come to a finished product of a home. It’s exhausting to watch and I can’t imagine how your husband has that much patience to continuously move, build rebuild, decorate redecorate, paint, hang rehang reinstall take down, it’s draining to watch.

This is so very fantastic, i love this look and am so excited to see all you do. I am an older person and i so enjoy all the aged pieces and your home your so lovingly bringing life to. Thank you so much and have a great weekend.

  11. Jeni says:

No need to watch if you don’t enjoy it.

Can you please share what white paint color you use? Thank you !!
