Flipping through design books is my secret trick for when I’m not sure what to do with a certain spot or feel like my creativity is running low. Just flipping through a design book can spark an idea. Or inspire me to think of something to do in our farmhouse. I get asked all the time what I do when I’m in a creative slump… this is one of my go-to things! & if you missed the news, I wrote a book! I actually avoided reading other design books while I was writing mine so that I wouldn’t be swayed one way or another while writing my own… but now that I’m done writing I’m back to reading all the design books!
