  17. Eneida Nieves says:

Hi Liz! Stairs are absolutely perfect! Just a question…you said in the second line of your paragraph that you started with the number 222…but then towards the end of the paragraph you say you started with 223…I’m thinking it’s just a typo, but ever so curious to know which number you did actually start with? 🙂 hugs!

    Eneida

  18. hmmm….How about you post a pic in a few months time…..I hope you have a housemaid !!!

  19. Lina Kermani says:

    Hi Lisa,
I love your posts. But the stairs look a little empty. We are manufacturers of natural sisal and seagrass carpet stair treads and I believe that’s exactly what you need to use here for a sophisticated organic rustic look. Please contact us, thank you! Lina at NaturalAreaRugs

  20. Christel says:

The stairs look GREAT!!! They look both sophisticated and rustic!!!

  21. Lina Kermani says:

Hi Cristel, thank you for your input. I agree with your comments but I think they will look lovely and complete with sisal stairs. Thank, Lina

  22. Christel says:

Lina, We’ll just have to agree to disagree. : )

“Liz”, LOVE your stairs as is. : )

  23. Renee l Shultz says:

    Awesome!

  24. Renee l Shultz says:

What kind of numbers did you use? Where did you purchase them? Size you used? How did you apply them ??? I’m going to try it on my stairs! Hope mine come out even?

  25. How can those numbers be any more perfect for your fantastic farmhouse?! So adorable. Just like you two.

  26. Tonita says:

I have an old farmhouse, a mini 570 foot farmhouse with a very small narrow staircase to the loft. Three years ago I painted my steps and numbered them one through nine. I have seen tons of numbered steps on Pinterest. Cute idea and nice job on the steps but way more slippery for the pup.
