Love your pictures and your style! I just discovered your site. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing your journey to parenthood. Keep the faith! I had a lonnnng road myself, but now have two sons — one through adoption (after only a 4 month wait) and another through IVF. (Feel free to email be about either process!) God has a better plan than we can ever design ourselves. Will keep you in our prayers — and keep following your story. Happy New Year!

These are beautiful and amazing! Our family has a hard time with taking a photo, and getting my autistic son to look and laugh takes about 100 tries! The outcome is so fun with the real-ness of the set of photos. Thank you for sharing. I wish you hope and pray for your child to find you this year. You seem like such a loving couple. I wonder if you would ever consider adopting a child with special needs? I have heard that it is harder to place them in a home. I hope this comment does not offend anyone. Being a mom of an autistic adult son, I think about this often and wonder if it is really true what people always say to us–that they think we are amazing and that they could not do what we do. I know that love is what a parent needs most and the rest follows by the grace of Jesus Christ.

    Hi Liz,
I found your blog by accident & your story had me in tears. I have been there too. It is painful. Very very painful. There are no words – the most comforting comment I ever received was ” What you are going through is just wrong. You deserve so much better’. It was just nice to have someone acknowledge my pain, not try and play it down or attempt to smooth it over with platitudes. We went through everything you went through & ended up having a baby when I was 44 years old. Much much later than we planned, but it happened. I wish you all the best in 2019 & hope you get to have your dream.
