This week on the Balsam Hill blog I shared a little tip on how I make our garland look a little fuller and a little more custom to our home. It’s a super simple tip, but it’s one that I find myself doing often so I wanted to share it with you guys. You can see that full post [HERE]. I wanted to share this little space here on the blog because I may heave already changed it a whole lot & so here is one last little look at it this way. I’m going to be playing around with it a little and sampling some ways to style it to let some of my creativity out of my brain and of course to share some inspiration with you hopefully… but I couldn’t take this happy little gallery wall down without sharing it one more time. Will it be back? Who knows, maybe it will soon, but when my brain gets the urge to try new things I’ve learned to not ignore it & let the creativity flow through me enjoy trying out new things. I truly get energized and feel fulfilled trying new things in our house and working on projects and sharing it with you guys… I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

For Christmas I simply strung some garland around the banister area, hung a wreath in the gallery wall above the bench & hung a few stockings as well on the staircase to share another way you can hang your stockings. Oh, & that little Christmas tree? I stuck it in an antique suitcase as it’s tree skirt… cute huh? This entryway is for sure a cozy one especially at Christmas, but now let’s get on to some exciting news….
