It always happens acciedently. I will be walking through an antique shop & I start collecting things along the way… It hardly ever is on purpose, but it still happens. I start collecting all the things. Almost like a little obsession… like a scavenger hunt of sorts. Most recently I started collecting antique amber bottles. It started when I found some antique amber medicine bottles at a local shop for $1 a piece… I was hooked! I loved the amber vibes for fall & knew that I wanted to incorporate them into our fall decor, but I hope to keep them in our decor permentantly as a warm & cozy element. Here is where I put them for now in our sunroom displayed on one of my favorite cabinet…

I lined them up and displayed them all pretty in a cluster with some of my cotton stems I picked up at Magnolia. they all look like they belonged together!! Now, I find these amber bottles at antique shops, flea markets, & many other places, but guess what? I found some amber bottles at Target [HERE] that you can recreate this look with!! I also found [these] amber ball jars that would look great for a fall centerpiece. These are part of the Hearth & Hand line & are a great way to get this amber bottle look in your fall decor this year. I of course had to add more cozy elements into this vignette so I threw in a fall pillow from Magnolia as well & a cozy pom blanket I picked up at one of my new favorite shops, Linen & Cake. Of course I have a ton of other textures mixed in like the lovely beadboard cabinet, that antique wood chair, & that cozy long basket that I’m so in love with. Have I mentioned how much I love fall decor yet?

I had so much fun creating this simple fall look & I truly hope that it inspires you while you decorate for fall this year! It doesn’t always have to be about pumpkins & gourds, it can be simple fall stems, cozy textures, & deep jewel tone glass like amber to make the perfect fall scene.
