I shared our new bed earlier this week [HERE] in our master bedroom & shared bits & pieces of our master bedroom makeover that we are currently doing. I hardly showed our master bedroom before & would only show the bed area because the rest was just… well, not pretty. Our room was underwhelming & not cozy at all because of the old stinky carpet, bad paint, & other aspects of the space. Well, it’s getting prettier by the day! We ripped up the carpet, laid wood floors & painted them, painted the walls & trim, painted the doors, & started bringing in new elements into the space. Today I wanted to share with you the mood board I put together for the room to give you a little insight into my mind during this makeover. There is a lot more to this space than the board, but this is the feel of the space & I hope it gives you some good insight! My goal for this room was to have it feel like you walked into your vacation cottage that you rented for a week during the summer & this is what you walk into. A cozy vintage cottage room that is inviting with all of it’s cozy cottage elements. From vintage finds, florals, baskets, cozy textures, & pops of brass.
