Supporting local thrift stores, vintage shops, antique shops, flea markets, etc. for vintage farmhouse/cottage decor is a much better option than Amazon. Digging through mom and grandma’s attic/basement is another suggestion.

So much of the mass-produced, pseudo-vintage items are cheaply made and are not manufactured in the US, which opens up an entirely other can of worms… If painted, is the painted item produced with safe, lead-free paints? Are the items created using child labor? Are the laborers paid a decent living wage?

Really, Luci? Haven’t you ever read this blog before? Liz Marie is all about authentic vintage pieces. Go troll somewhere else.
