Love the frig.. we have no uppers either but we put two tall slim pantrys on each side of it so it was not out of place and covered the sides and custom made cubbies on each side of the pantrys to blend in with no uppers. I love how your kitchen is coming out. One of a kind! Thats what we have to. Love reading your blogs.

  2. Lashana says:

I love it! I always thought it only came in the cream color. Now I know I have a white fridge to look forward to.

  3. Joyce says:

It’s gorgeous! Your cabinet looks great too!

  4. Sandy says:

You’ve just added another gem to your crown! Breathtakingly beautiful Liz! Love the look of this fridge in your awesome kitchen. I need new appliances for my kitchen that we renovated almost 3 years ago but unfortunately this beauty is not in my budget. I guess I’ll have to live vicariously through you, again!

  5. Maggie says:

It’s really cute! I’m surprised though it has no light or ice maker for that price..,, it sure it sweet though!!!

  6. Terri says:

The handles remind me of my grandmother’s upright “deep freeze” back in the day, and looks very similar! I think you’re gonna love the handles once you get used to them! The appearance of your refrigerator fits your farmhouse and style like a dream!!!

  7. Peggy Lee Baker says:

Holy cow that is one sleek of a beauty….reminds me of growing up on the farm! It’s so beautiful and I love the sleek look thanks for showing the inside I was so curious about how it looks in there…so cool. Thanks for sharing your pros and cons, I love the honest review…I know my hubby will love it I can’t wait to show him tonight. I love your kitchen remodeling journey you’ve been sharing. (all I can think about is seeing a layered white icing cake with berries on top like my grandmother would make on Sundays). so cute

  8. Elaine says:

Looks great! I’m definitely going to shop this fridge for my place now. Looking forward to seeing your kitchen when it’s all finished!

  9. Becca says:

Looks beautiful! You both should be so proud of all the hard work you have done to get this far. Thanks for the inspiration and all the best for your next project. Keep them coming! : )

  10. Karen says:

Your kitchen is dreamy! so so beautiful. The smeg is gorgeous, perfect for your kitchen.

  11. Jeni says:

Liz this is Perfect. Sounds like you had quite the process just getting it in your home. But the end result is amazing♥️♥️♥️

  12. Linda E. says:

Absolutely LOVE all your Smeg products, looks so awesome !!!!!!!! LOVE your kitchen too !!!!!!! I wanted to make a another comment on the shelf question, if you should paint or stain the shelves on the wood corbels…..first i commented that you should paint the shelves, then I seen in this post your island, which is unpainted wood. Now i think the shelves should be stained and then darked the back of the spice cabinet. Would balance the wood tones, which are drop dead gorgeous. Adds more character than everything white.

  13. Linda E. says:

One more thing…..I also make my ice cubes the old fashioned way, with trays !!!!!!!! The water line bust on our ice maker, flooded the kitchen……and found out that is a pretty common problem. Not me anymore.

  14. Charlene says:

Hey Liz, I’m smitten with your SMEG. I love it. It’s not very often that an appliance has a voice. I’m just smitten. 🙂

  15. Leanna says:

I am dying to know where you got your drawer pulls from on your cabinets!? I am having the hardest time finding ones I LOVE! And can’t wait you use for the cabinet doors!

  16. Lily says:

Absolutely lovely. Reminds me of the old fridges, but big and lovely. Perfect.

  17. Carla from Kansas says:

I have an LG fridge that is the same size. One of the reasons I got it was because it was counter depth. But it is small. I’m single and there are some things that won’t fit. Like a large watermelon!! Mine also does not have an icemaker or light in freezer but my freezer is 3 pullout drawers. It does not have gorgeous handles like yours BUT it was much less pricey.

  18. Susan says:

I’ll go with LG counter depth fridge, SMEG is overpriced due to snob factor, not quality.

  19. Melissa says:

I think she is beautiful, sleek and perfect for your space. She is y’all and slender but that makes her more unique. I would call her Gazelle, like the model. Lol

  20. Donna says:

It is a beautiful refrigerator…..You can actually purchase counter depth fridges, but you’re right the sides are not too great design wise….Is it self-defrosting?

  21. Wow what a mammoth task!! Bust she was worth it!! Your kitchen is definitely coming together!! So Beautiful!!

  22. JoGoodwin says:

Hi, i live in Oz. We always wanted a Smeg, so i got one 5 years ago. Waited 6 months.
Love it. It looks so good. Same as yours.
Only problem i had was in my rush noone told me i had to defrost it myself. Its a pain.
I believe they changed to automatic, so you are probably luckier than me because i jumped in without doing my homework.
    Still love it but.

  23. Liz you know I love you but I could not live without an ice maker!! Guess I could get one of those separate use ones, but that might just be a game changer for me. This fridge is gorgeous, has a vintage look but this Momma of many has to have her ice!! The kitchen is turning our perfect sweet girl, great job!!!!

  24. Out perfect, not our perfect!!

  25. Danijela says:

    Your kitchen is perfect!

  26. Dottie says:

    Liz,
Are you keeping the stove? If not, what are your ideas? Love the frig:)

  27. Jo says:

It’s adorable but I’m only one person and there is absolutely no way I could live with such a small fridge. I hope it works great for you.

  28. Stephanie says:

Love the fridge. Where is the rug from?

  29. Lucy says:

Too true… SMEG = conspicuous consumption & consumerism.

  30. Donna says:

It’s beautiful and fits your kitchen perfectly! Post a pic when it’s full❤️

  31. Dee Strutts says:

Hi Liz,love your SMEG ,it looks so amazing in your WONDERFUL farm kitchen.I have a small European style fridge and it doesn’t have an ice-maker either,I don’t mind as we don’t put ice in our drinks and no light in the freezer either, which really is not a problem. The door on the fridge takes a firm pull to open, guess that is a good thing as the seal is firm. You really need a second fridge as these don’t hold a lot of food,we have a full sized one in the garage. We have a small galley kitchen done in white with beadboard so I wanted something that would fit with the farmhouse-cottage theme, this little fridge fits the bill!I know you love your SMEG!!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. Your kitchen is coming along beautifully! The fridge is gorgeous, but would absolutely not work for my family of 5. The fact that there is no ice maker is a deal breaker for me, and no light in the freezer is weird. It does look super pretty but it just wouldn’t be practical for a big family. I know it’s just the two of you right now, but one day when you do have a family, I think you might find that you have the same issue. With that said, I do really love watching your kitchen progress and it is simply gorgeous!

  33. Yayyyyyy!!!! I am beyond excited that it finally came! So worth the wait!! It absolute perfection. Your kitchen is #pinterestgoals

  34. Livia Bolson says:
