I do have a metal bed. I’ve wanted one for many, many, many years and finally bought one 2 years ago. Yes, I love it. It’s a Wesley Allen brand and the style is Braden. It can be ordered in many different color options. I got the matte black. I ordered it from Carolina Rustica. http://www.carolinarustica.com The price has gone up over $100 since I bought mine.

By the way, you need doggie stairs for the pups. That way you can have a higher bed. 😀

I bought mines a few months back. I got the fifth one on your list but from Wayfair not target because of price. Targets is $300 and Wayfair had it for for $186 plus free shipping. Mines is kinda tall but it also depends on the height you choose. When you assemble the bed it comes with three different size legs underneath for different heights, low, medium and high. And it depends on how thick your mattress is too. But I love mine but it is high. So you could always build something for your boys to get up and down easier.

You should look around for an antique one! My metal bed was bought for me when I turned 16(I am now 45). I still love it because it is unique with square instead of round spindles I guess you would say. An old guy had a yard full of antique iron beds of all sizes already primed for painting. Anyway, I’m sure you will find the perfect one! Good luck!

I have a metal bed and while I absolutely love the way they look, it is SO hard to get your hands in the front and back to make the bed. Looking back I wish I had something a bit more practical but they are gorgeous!
