Really! Who has that kinda money to pay $109.00 for pillow? You are always sending blogs that say “affordable” for who? Only the very rich or ones who are in debt up to their…could afford to pay those prices!

Maybe you will get an idea from this board that you can use to make an inspired item yourself. Even though “this” pillow is $109, you could make something similar yourself for the price of the fabric, stuffing and time. Magnolia is pricey for some people but I think we can all still appreciate that they do have beautiful items that can inspire ideas for things that will look nice in our homes.

I love Magnolia products! I have many of the decor pieces I picked up when we were at the silos earlier this year. We drove from MN and it was worth the trip!! I love their faux greenery and flowers. I purchased her white end tables for my living room, which I love, but my absolute favorite is the Tristin Taupe Rug. It’s in my entry way and makes a beautiful first impression. It’s a gorgeous neutral color! I was afraid to let people walk in with muddy shoes but it cleans up really nicely and stays beautiful. Very good quality and soft on the feet! I agree prices are on the high side but the quality assures me they will last a LONG time rather than replacing pieces after wearing out. I only buy things that I will love for years to come! Their prices are actually comparable to shops around here with similar products.

I looked at some of their pieces at our local Value City furniture store where they carried their line. The pieces look great in photos but not so much in person (in my opinion) They discontinued their line at Value City because it wasn’t a big hit like they thought it would be. Art Van Furniture will be carrying their line. I like some of their pieces but I think they are pretty pricey for what you get. I’m an authentic antique loving gal so I find pieces and make them my own. I like some of her looks but I’m not that crazy about the quality of her pieces. I can get the look with other furniture brands. The corbels looked hokey tome but them I’m an antique dealer in an upscale boutique store so I like the real deal.

I too wasn’t impressed with the quality of their furniture that was sold at RC Willey. I have ordered a few of their products online that I really like but then I found the same products that that were sold on different sites for less. I also would never pay that much for a pillow in fact I usually make my own pillow covers and change them out seasonly. When Magnolia and Fixer Upper first started I was totally into the show and all their products. I no longer feel that way. I love their style but I loved that style before they were propular.

Well, the pillows are from Pier 1.

I adore your home and style Liz Marie! If you want a gorgeous cathedral wood window like in the photo from Magnolia check out the Facebook page of Family Fix and Flip on Facebook! I bought 2 of their windows at a great price and they make custom orders! Since I’m a Michigan gal I love supporting Michigan small businesses.

  9. Susan Root says:

The pillows are $99.00 at Pier 1. I checked yesterday. 🙂

  10. Brenda says:

    OH…$100.00 for a pillow…really!
