Well, the day has come! Our first ever Found Cottage Mercantile Market in Holland Michigan at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds that will start today & go into tomorrow [see more info here]. We made a last-minute decision a few months ago to host this market & have been working on it 24/7 ever since. & the day is now here. I’ve sat in silence with God today praying that it would bring joy to everyone. The amazing vendors, the shoppers, the people who traveled here from afar, the volunteers, the onlookers, & most of all Him. We have gathered up 150 vendors from all over from gathered goods, to handmade, to vintage, to food. We want it to be a highly curated experience from the smells, the tastes, & to the sights.. all of this stuff that brings us joy.. We want to share that with you guys on a larger scale that our shop. Our store, the found cottage, is our happy place that is open daily, & this market is an extension of that that is something bigger that we could have ever imagined & that we hope is the biggest joy of your holiday weekend.

Oh, the treasures to be had. I had the HARDEST time not buying everything today as the vendors set up, but you best believe I plan on shopping all the booths tomorrow! I was so impressed, overwhelmed, & delighted by how amazing each vendor was & had the best time getting to chat with everyone… & we have only just begun with the fun weekend! More vendors will be coming in & setting up tomorrow & tomorrow afternoon we will open the gates for the weekend & the shopping will begin.. I cannot wait!
