When I saw the first stone walled picture I thought ‘wow, did they just install that’

I think I quite like it, but I wouldn’t have it in my house and so agree it doesn’t go with your vision!

Can’t wait to see the finished product!

  2. Jen says:

I don’t blame you one bit for hiding that wall. Definitely doesn’t match the age or style of your home. Can’t wait to watch the progress!

  3. Denise says:

I love what you are doing! The rock wall is pretty but I think your vision of your farmhouse is fantastic and even better ! Keep going. It is inspiring to see what you do.

I love stone walls but in this instance it did seem a bit out of place. More importantly its your home and the beauty of that is making it your own!! I do have a question anout the arched area. Will that space remain stone? It looks as though the framework for the shiplap frames around it nicely but I was curious about the inside. I cant wait to see the final result ?

  6. Becky says:

Sweet Liz…It really doesn’t matter what you two do to your house, it will be amazing. You have a beautiful style and vision. It’s your home, and you will enjoy the fruits of your labor ??

  7. Lisa says:

Controversial? Why? Maybe if it was original to the house, but why would anyone care if you cover a wall from the 1980s? I’m a big fan of restoration instead of remodeling, and even I would cover that wall.
