This week while walking through Lowe’s I spotted this avocado green paint by Krylon. I knew exactly the piece it was meant for. I had a very dull chair, that I was in the process of re-doing & originally was going to paint it black…. umm no. It needed to be avocado green.

   My “before” picture is half way into the chair being transformed into a black piece of art, but it was far from art & I wasn’t feeling it so the chair sat lifeless in my garage for a while, until I came across the avocado paint….

   O, you noticed that lovely burlap seat? I thought you would be entirely distracted by the lovely green paint. Well, that’s simple. I simply cut up a burlap sack and upholstered the seat in the lovely primitive fabric….

   With some staples and careful wrapping that ugly seat was covered & never to be seen again! This may have started an obsession of upholstering everything with burlap.. oops!

   I went a little picture with my little avocado chair, but I couldn’t help it.. I love this chair so much. I do not believe I will be keeping the avocado chair or I might be on a new show called “Furniture Hoarders, Buried Alive” & no one wants to see that.
