Maybe a tad too primitive for my taste. But hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Absolutely love this piece! I always fall for the big ones too.
It’s such a storied hutch, you can just feel it.
The vibes are strong with this one 😉 hehe.
I can see why it called to you.

Your such an inspiration to me. I love your blog and style. Thank you for adding a bright spot to my day. It’s always exciting to see your posts. You may have already answered this, where did you get your dining room table? I’m sorry if this has already been answered and I missed it.

  8. Love everything you do! We are restoring an 1893 farmhouse and I just bought a smaller, yet very similar piece for my kitchen! They just don’t make cabinets/hutches out of real wood like this anymore. I am going to leave the chippy paint on mine as well, but I’m thinking since they will be functioning as an actual part of my kitchen, I might need to use a matte varnish to keep the paint out of our food. Do you know of a good product for preserving a pitina like this? Thanks

    Love Sara Jo
