Almost a year ago I picked up one of my favorite junkin’ finds of all time. I paid a pretty little penny for it, but knew that I had to snatch up right then or I probably wouldn’t find one in that good of shape again & I was right. What was it? A beautiful lead glass window. By the time I went to pay for it there were women trying to rip it from my hands, but thankfully I spotted it first. We had it hanging in our last house in the dining room area [here], but my dream was to always hang it in front of one of our windows & we finally did just that this past weekend in our farmhouse sunroom…

I chose to hang the lead glass window on a center window in our sunroom. We had a table already on the center window so I though it would complete the vignette over the table. I liked it that you could still see through the lead glass window because I didn’t want to obstruct the view in the sunroom, but it also added an element of interest to the sunroom which I loved. If you remember last week I shared that I hung two architectural pieces on each side of this room, so another one in the middle kind of added to that architectural interest in the room. To hang this window we put two eye hooks into the top trim of the window & two eye hooks in the top of the window. Then to hang the window we used a bronze chain that we picked up at Home Depot. Super easy, yet it makes  big impact on the room.

There it is. Our lead glass window hanging in the sunroom. In my humble opinion, I think this room keeps getting better & better. If you were wondering what candle was on the table that was burning while I took these photos today it’s “I like brew a latte” by Wild Lust Wicks & I think it’s made with magic because it smells our whole house up like coffee even when we don’t light it. This candle is Liz Marie approved. Anyways, I hope you love the hanging lead glass window in our sunroom & this little update we did to the space this weekend.
