Today I wanted to share with you guys a super quick furniture makeover that I did yesterday for our office. We eventually want a table in the center of our office with stools around it & I finally found some stools at Target. Oh, you wondered if I had found some expensive fancy ones finally?! Nope. I found some basic wood stools for less than $20 at good old Target [here] & used some paint & a secret little ingredient to completely transform them. There will be four stools total around the table, but two stools are done & this is how they turned out…

Seriously they turned out so cute! At least I think they did. Here is what they looked like before I gave them some love…

& after some white chalk paint [also purchased at Target] & a little stool cover….

So the secret ingredient? These amazing stool covers designed by one of my favorite people, Miss Mustard Seed. I’m such a huge fan of hers & when she announced that these babies were for sale on Decor Steals I knew I had to get some for our office. I just threw them on the painted stools & they instantly transformed them. How cool is that? I knew I loved that Miss Mustard Seed & now I have another reason.. she’s a genius. A creative genius that is.

Seriously such a simple makeover & one that didn’t cost much either which is a win in my book. Now on to getting that table so I can actually use these babies. I’m thinking about distressing the stools a little more so I’ll update you on that later, but for now here are the stools & our office makeover will be complete one day. Promise!!
