It’s been a little while since Jose & I have shared a DIY piece of furniture. Mostly because we opened up a store & we have been so busy with that..Well today my friends we are back with a pretty awesome piece that Jose built & painted this week [I literally only styled it for this post, which I’m sure he could have done as well] I’m telling you he doesn’t need me, he is creative all on his own. We really wanted to try out some bookshelves so we came up with this super simple DIY rolling bookshelf…

Isn’t it the cutest? I told Jose that I thought a rolling bookshelf would be cute & this is what he came up with. It’s super simple & he shared on his blog today [here] how to make one for yourself! I styled this one in our living room, but brought it to our store, The Found Cottage, today because this wasn’t the right size for our home. The good news?! Mr. LMB is making us another one for a special spot in our home, so stay tuned for that! I styled this one in our living room with some Ikea plants, world market candle sticks, baskets from Michaels, a lovely sign from Feather & Birch, & some lovely antique finds.

Like I said earlier Jose also painted the bookshelf. He used Franciscan gray by Maison blanche & used a dark wax over the gray color. I love the paint job he did! I’m always so impressed by his skills, he truly is so much better at everything than I am. I say we make a good team just like this color combo. I think when he builds one for our home soon we will do this same color combo as well.
