This week is so fun for me guys! I was so honored by your sweet words here on the blog, Instagram, Facebook, & more about our cozy rustic winter living room yesterday [here]. Thank you for always making me smile, sharing my blog, & just stopping by to see what I’m up to. I love blogging & it wouldn’t be as fun without all of you guys who love the same things that I do. Today’s winter home tour of our home continues into our dining room area. Our dining room is a small area off our kitchen, which will be on the blog tomorrow, & for winter I wanted to keep our little dining room area super simple. For winter decor I have been loving cozy textures, winter greens, & of course neutrals. If you saw our winter living room than you saw my love for all of that already. Here is how our simply cozy winter dining room looked this afternoon as I sipped a cup of tea before heading to my store [The Found Cottage opens next week Thursday! Wow!], & snapped a few photos…




Seriously I am loving winter decor. It’s kind of refreshing after Christmas, like spearmint gum after a meal. Weird analogy I know, but that’s what came to my head. The house feels cleaner & more spacious. The simple decor is soothing for the winter months. On the table I have a black tray from Painted Fox [here] filled with winter greens & candles from Target [here]. The trees on the side of the pie safe are from Joss & Main & the olive buckets are from Target. On top of the pie safe is an antique window & my three tiered tray from Painted Fox [here]. I also have a few crocks with some of my antique rolling pins & wooden spoons. The “word dishes” are all finds from Marshalls & Home Goods. The light fixture [here], rug [here], upholstered chairs [here], & sign [here] are all world market goods. The pillows are H&M, the chairs are Scout & Nimble, & that’s about it I think. & of course I LOVE my handmade shops so much & two of the items in this room are handmade with love.
