I’m dying! You are such a lucky girl to have scored such a beautiful piece and I’m loving it as a centerpiece. I can totally see it as a great serving piece too! Would be great for an easter brunch, filled with croissants and pastries. Maybe an assortment of fruit? Anyways, you’ve convinced me that I need one of these!

  2. Great find! It looks beautiful on your table Liz! Love the bunny pillow too!

Congrats on your bowl. I have mine on the kitchen table most of the time, but it looks great almost anywhere that is long enough. I have a set of led candles in mine with faux potpourri that I made . A decor shop near me has very nice reproductions that are very inexpensive and several sizes. I have been tempted to get one and sell my antique. And by the way my kitchen table has the same legs as your dining table. I love them so much and there are 5 legs. One in the middle as the table has four leaf extensions. Love the way your home is shaping up.

I went the cheap way and bought a reproduction, but wish I had the real thing. What plant did you use? It will be fun to see all the different things you do with it over the years. So far mine is sitting on the floor in the bedroom because I can’t decide how to use it. Lame, huh? Thanks for the inspiration. Maybe I’ll search “dough bowl” on Pinterest too. Love your style and blog.

soo adorable! love how you got some real plants there! I remember you saying you can’t keep plants alive and i totally relate to that. I’ve had a few plants around for the pst 6 months now and I’m happy to report their still alive so thats exciting! Anyway, love it!

What are the plants called in the dough bowl? Love it!!!!

  14. I have to admit that I did not know what a dough bowl was before this post. Now that I do though…I think, nope, scratch that – I NEED one. I have no idea where I’ll put it, but it’s awesome. And I’m addicted to plants so I love what you did with yours. I guess I’m going to have to search high and low to find one at a good bargain!
