So many of you have been asking for a garden fence review. You can see more of our garden & garden fence over on my Instagram [HERE]. I wanted to give an initial review & share all of our thoughts on the fence. We purchased this fencing from Amazon [HERE] after struggling to find any fencing locally & we were super surprised by the quality and the look of it. While we probably could have built a fence similar to this I decided I wanted to just purchase the fence instead. This fence assembled and installed super easily with no digging required!
You’ll want to buy enough pieces to surround the area you are trying to fence in. The pieces connect together and require some assembly but we found it to be very easy. There are clearly labeled parts and instructions but here is the quick version on how to assemble them.

You can actually purchase a gate [HERE] that is compatible for the fence! It is designed to match the fence perfectly and fit into the garden fence. When you order the fence gate, it is comprised of the swinging gate section is looks just like the rest of the panels, and two skinnier sides. The kit provides everything you need, but the holes for the gate hinges and latch are not pre-drilled. You will need to do this, they provide the measurements. We recommend using painters tape to measure and mark where your holes are going to go. The side panel supports of the gate are assembled and installed similar to the previous steps we shared above.
I would say this fence is sturdy and secure for a summer garden. This fence is designed for semi-permanent residential applications. It’ll keep bunnies and other little critters that would be harmful to our garden. Cope given it some powerful one year tugs on it, and it held up great. We have bumped the fence & we have had some pretty severe weather already this summer here in Michigan & the fence hasn’t budged one bit.

One package comes with 2 units for a total of 116 inches of fencing. You can purchase it in higher quantities though.
The fence is made with weather-resistant vinyl with a 10 Year Warranty. It says that it won’t crack, warp, yellow, splinter, or rot. We haven’t had it long enough to speak from our own experience, but I will be sure to update you guys at the end of the season. One thing we have seen with vinyl products that are left out all year around in our climate is after a few hot summers and cold winters, the vinyl can become very brittle. The install and uninstall process is very easy, so we do have the ability to pull the fence panels in for the season to keep them safe from the harsh winter.

That was one thing I loved about this! We did not have to paint or stain the fence. It fit perfectly with the color of our greenhouse and the vinyl white fence we already have around the farm.

Overall the review after the assembly, install, and having it for a few months now, we are very happy with our purchase. It fits our esthetic and compliments our greenhouse so much, and ultimately it does its job keeping those unwanted visitors out. We love the ability to change the shape, size, and even relocate the fence with little effort. The price per box was within reason compared to to other products, and we ordered it on amazon prime so we got it in a few days. You can see more of my garden daily and more of the fence over on my Instagram [HERE] We hope this review helps you determine if this no-dig, vinyl picket fence is for you… Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today and every other day, it means the world to us here at the farm.
