Thanks for sharing another great idea. I plan to do something similar in our Master bedroom showing my grown “baby” at various stages of his life but have been looking endlessly for frames that I like. May I suggest more photos of Cope? A gallery wall of him and some special moments in his already adventurous life would fabulous in the upstairs hallway or in his bedroom. We empty nesters have to be careful not to have rooms that look like shrines to our children who have moved on to start their own families and that is something I am trying to avoid so I thought a gallery in our room would be appropriate. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Am I being too sentimental? Is there a place that you would suggest? Love that Copeland smile!!!! Love & Hugs to all!

Can you do this from an old photo? I’m worried about it getting pixelly (not a word, I know ?). I’ve got so many pictures of my daughter who is 16 now. Thanks for all of your wonderful inspiration! God bless and stay safe! ?

Cost of the prints from staples? I never knew they did this.

I love, love, love this idea! Thanks so much for sharing! What is the size of the actual photo of Cope?

  5. Brooke says:

I would love it if you did more YouTube videos of your diy. I am a visual person so reading these directions is like reading the dictionary, my eyes are just glossing right over it! I really want to try this tutorial though l!! Thank you for sharing

Does covering the thermostat impact how it works?

  11. Susan Daniels says:

More pics of Cope please. You’re very spot on. Just can’t get enough of that precious boy!!

Hey Kim, we did a small gallery wall of family photos which I really like for an idea like this! Here is what we did before: https://61833.showitstaging.com/2019/07/diy-picture-ledge-gallery-wall/

  13. Liz says:

Honestly, I’m not sure I would check with the place you are printing the photo with to see how the quality will turn out when you enlarge the photo!

  14. Liz says:

We drilled a few 1/2 inch holes all around the mounted base to ensure room temperature could be read on the thermostat!
