  2. Alisha says:

Where did you get the candles? I love the different tones of them! This project is stunning!

  3. Teddee Grace says:

Antique Candles doesn’t seem to be selling any tapers on line. Could you please provide a link?

  4. Lisa says:

I spent the weekend enjoying your beautiful new book, what a joy to read?

  5. Penny says:

I love your suggestion of melting some of the wax to anchor your candles. What happens, though, when you need to replace the candles? Do you simply dig out the wax that is in the bottom of the hole so you can put a new one in there? Thanks for your help. This is a gorgeous idea and a great honey-do for my husband! I can even see it in shades of pink for the spring or Easter.

  6. Shannon says:

Love the natural element. You always nail it Liz!!
    Thanks for the inspiration.

  7. Julie Geenen says:

LOVE this idea, Liz! Jose should make them to sell at Found Cottage!

  8. Asha says:

Love this idea. You guys are so talented. I have a round table so not sure this would work for us but so cool. Would it be possible to link the candles you purchased? I don’t see anything but red tapers and a package of small white tapers on afloral’s site. Thanks you so much for sharing your creativity with us!

  9. Kathleen says:

This is so pretty, but is it ok if I just cluck softly instead of quacking as I put the tapers in? Lol, gotta love typos.

  10. Ang@lappfarm says:

    Funny?

  11. Lorri Duren says:

What a fun idea! I’ll be doing this for sure! I love having candles all over our house, they make it feel so cozy!

  12. Susan says:

Love, love, love this!!! It’s amazing and I cannot wait to see what it looks like after the wax drips down on it. It did make me wonder how it would look with votive candles. They would probably leave too much wax. ? ❤️ Thanks for all your ideas!!! I don’t usually comment but I’m always impressed with your ideas. ?

  13. Amy says:

    Definitely trying this! Thank you!

  14. Darlene says:

Love the soft look of all these candles ! Enjoyed meeting and chatting with you this past weekend at Stone Mountain for the Country Living Show. It was fun to discuss our Marine husbands! Enjoyed meeting Jose and seeing the baby! Wanted to share this candle tip with you. I have been using a product called STICK-UM for many years and with countless candles. It works perfectly every time ….will hold any candle in place without melting the ends. It never hardens, and is the greatest candle adhesive! Please try it. I’m currently writing this under a snuggly blanket , in a rocking chair, on my porch in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains! We are blessed with so many breathtaking views of colorful leaves???Happy Fall Ya’ll!

  16. Lisa says:

Simple and gorgeous ❤️ Love this idea. Also love the soft varying shades of the natural candles.

  17. Homeia says:

good job, Liz! I think this is a smart idea to use candles…we may use this way for a romantic party…It looks unique!

Cannot wait to give this a try! Looks gorgeous! ❤️

  19. Dana Studer says:

I love your book! Can you tell me what, if there is one in particular, white or cream paint you use on most of your stuff? I’m in a paint it white mode-my pie safe, my kitchen table, a dresser, a laundry room wall cabinet, a porch rocker-even the dog’s ear bc he got too close one day. They ? are all just basic white. Do you use a certain one or several shades? I also wonder if all my whites should match. Thanks.

  20. Shirley Weir says:

    Lovely project. Thank you.
Please share the source of the tapers you used.
We are making this project as a holiday gift.
