I’m sorry in advance guys… I will be sharing this cozy corner under our stairs a million more times because I LOVE how cozy this space is. Today I styled it with one of my favorite stores to find affordable home decor, Walmart. I have been sharing my love for Walmart for a long time now & I even have my own curated line at Walmart now [HERE] which is super fun. Today I wanted to share some things that aren’t in my collection & show you how I styled them in this cozy nook of ours…
First of all, can we talk about this rug? IT’S FROM WALMART! RUN & GET YOU ONE [HERE]. It is so cozy and so cute!! I knew it looked good online, but it’s even better in person. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve found myself laying on the rug with Cope & with Winnie… we’ve all been enjoying it. I chose to set it in from of this cabinet in our under-the-stairs-nook & I love the combo of the chippy piece with the rug. In the cabinet I styled a lot of my favorite collections including some books, antiques, & even a few blankets to cuddle up with in this chair from Walmart [HERE]. A few of the blankets are actually wool antique finds, but I got this blanket [HERE] from Walmart as well. For a little fall touch I added these cloth pumpkins [HERE] which were a fun take on fall decor. I wanted this space to be one you could grab a book & blanket out of the cabinet & sit on the chair & get cozy while putting your feet on the comfy rug… a perfect cozy corner with Walmart!
I like that Walmart can really be a one-stop-shop for a bunch of items. You can get clothes, beauty, baby, home & food all at Walmart. I love that they really stepped up their game when it comes to home decor over the last few years! I try to test out new pieces from Walmart regularly & even try things like this rug which normally I wouldn’t lean towards. However, because it was at such an affordable price I figured why not give it a try & to be honest it is one of my favorite pieces I’ve gotten from Walmart lately. I love that it has a pattern but is still a neutral rug, bonus it also feels so soft on your feet! Do you think I should add this to my collection? It vacuums really well for me!
I would say this is more of a formal chair, than a cozy up for a few hours chair! It is comfortable but I’m not sure I’d watch a movie sitting in it!

I agree with you completely!! I think Walmart has a lot of really high-quality pieces and we have a bunch of Walmart in our home.
