IT’S FLEA MARKET SEASON AGAIN! After a long winter I’m so happy to announce that we went to our first flea market this past weekend & I feel a little pep in my step today after finding some great things. Since it’s a summer of flea markets let’s make this our new Monday thing… some weekend DIY project updates & flea market finds. Here is what I found this past weekend & a few things I’ll be looking for this summer. I hope this post inspires you for your next antique shop visit or flea market adventure…
Flea Market Finds This Weekend:
27 antique floral frogs! You can see how I use floral frogs [HERE].
An antique quilt in nearly perfect condition. It’s so soft and cozy.
A little metal cabinet with shelves.
A lot of chippy oval frames. & a vintage house number.
Some vintage plates not pictured & an antique trunk that I don’t know what to do with yet.
A few items I’m looking for:

Love your style, I found you this winter while cooped up on the farm living the last of my forevers with my 12 year old golden retriever Finnigan. Who knew Instagram could be so interesting lol. First I’m from Canada so Hi from the North. Two questions your market fair in Holland I’m thinking of making the 5 hr trip. However I can’t find a dog friendly motel that isn’t $177 a night in Holland. Any suggestions , anything nearby I have 2 dogs maybe one by then. Can dogs come to the market I didn’t see any in your posts. Also we don’t have really cool unique farm decor in Canada can you tell me who made the Velveteen Rabbit canvas. Thanks

You found some amazing things. I am always on the hunt for vintage frames and floral frogs. I need to find a good flea market near me, I love the feeling of finding new things. I too get a pep in my step afterwards.

Hello from France! Flea market season has begun with lots of hurrahs from me. Yesterday’s treasures: 6 Moroccan tea drinking glasses; small French jewelry casket; a set of scimitars; shot glasses; shelf brackets; a small statue of St. Corentin; a lily of the valley plant; carnival glass creamer and sugar bowl . . . what a haul . . . French flea markets are fun as they usually make and sell fresh crepes and baguettes, besides different drinks to fortify you for a further rummage about. I do enjoy your site, keep up the good work! This weekend I bought a wrought iron sphere to plant a small fern in, an old cable spool to use as a riser in displays, a vintage berry can, plus a big stack of books from an old book library sale. Grand total just over 50 dollars. Proud of my finds!

Have you looked on AirBnB and VRBO? I have had good luck finding pet friendly accommodations that way.
