Inspired to buy pillows from Australia? Seriously, Liz? Not… I would rather buy local. And I am pretty sure I speak for many here, who won’t admit it. Please, source local or national vendors. The fact I am the only comment speaks volumes!!!

Liz, as usual your styling is just lovely! But, for me to spend over $100 on one pillow would be irresponsible with my budget….sooo, I am going to try to make a sort of ‘knock-off’ with drop cloth, a matching color of yarn, and a pom pom maker – wish me luck! And I t Laurindahank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

I totally agree with Belinda!! Well Said!

I love these pillows. I am sad to see people leaving comments that aren’t positive. Sometimes you splurge on the items you love and save on others. I don’t think splurging every once in awhile is a bad thing. Us hard working women need to gift ourselves every once in awhile. I understand that you may not be able to afford these beatiful pillows, but if you really truly love them…you will save, sell other items or ask friends and family to purchase as a gift. I am a stay at home momma, so my budget is also tight..but trust me I make sure to treat myself with items I love. Happy wife, happy life. It makes me a better wife, momma and friend. Bottom line, we just need to do us. I am sad to see comments such as above making judgments.

Like Liz I thrift alot and save so much money doing so. Thank you for sharing Liz, I have been wondering where you purchased these. It would be sooo neat if you can sell them in your store. I would totally buy them if you were to sell them. I also messaged you about the metal rainbow earrings you had? I am doing a rainbow round up for my blog and would love to add those and share with my peoples.

If you see this please send me a quick note on where I can find those rainbow earrings. Thanks again for sharing your happy home with all of us. Have a beautiful weekend.

    Really… Supporting an artist has
to be from a certain address??

My mother had a saying for those that had nothing nice to say, it goes something like this “Calladita te ves más bonita”!

    Right!

Thanks for sharing! I too like to buy local and American made as much as possible, but that really applies to cheap, mass-produced junk. I believe in supporting small businesses though, and especially businesses that support entrepreneurs in areas where it’s difficult to make a living. People are people whether they are our neighbors or not. Just keep doing what you’re doing – it inspires. I actually love your large white and black botanical pillow and have been looking for something similar for a while. Source?

I love the positivity of your comment! ! I had a friend ask how much my bed linens were, and she got furious. There are some items I splurge on, bed lines are one of them. To each their own!

I enjoy your posts so much, and I loved this one. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and your life with us. What a blessing! I’m sorry that someone would leave a negative comment, no matter what their opinion is. It seems to me that if they don’t agree or like, scroll on or go to another blog. It isn’t necessary to judge or criticize, period. My wonderful father in law used to say: Advice not asked for is nothing more than criticism. Please be encouraged that the negative people are a minority, and the people that love and support you are overwhelming! You have been both an inspiration and have uplifted me so many times through your blog and sharing. God is with you!
Hope your day is an amazing one, and thank you for all you do!

Thank you so much for sharing the source of those pillows, and a discount code to boot. I’m one of the ones “bugging” you for the source, so again, thanks for reading the comments and responding. I am saddened by the comments that are negative; I still live by the “if you don’t have anything nice to say”…adage.
I always found those pillows instantly in any of the many shots you have posted, and believe me, I spent many hours looking for anything similar. I work in textiles, so I knew they were probably wool, and to find that they are hand woven and made by artisans convinced me why the price might seem very high. I’d rather spend more money on something I truly love and can work into many settings than have multiples of things that don’t inspire joy. I think it is completely an individual choice to decide how to allocate the money that we all have worked hard to earn. I’m looking forward to my order arriving, and even though spring is here, I will still find a way to incorporate those lovely wool works of art into my home as soon as they are here. Blessings to you Liz on your sense of style and for sharing your beautiful designs with us. I hope your year is filled with many moments of joy.

Y’all. An opinion is an opinion. Fangirl brigade doesn’t need to come out for that. Surely Liz can handle some constructive criticism from her readers. (And it is constructive. This blog started out with DIY and more budget friendly ideas. People are stating that they can’t just be in a low mood like Liz and blow $100 on a Pom Pom pillow. Shopping addiction much?) Bloggers/influencers are so out of touch now. #swipeup

  13. THANK YOU LIZ! For months I have been asking about those perfect pom-pom pillows! I began searching on my own and saw the pampas ones – I was hoping that you had a source locally (so I did not have to incur the international freight charges)…but alas, it was not true! However, I was SUPER EXCITED to get the 15% off!

People are going to be negative – but to shame? Especially Liz? You’ve shared so much with us to inspire us to beautiful our sanctuaries! Sometimes we are going to splurge and get the awesome pillows and balance it out with a garage sale find or something from Walmart – and that is ALRIGHT!

Again – thank you for all you do!
