I’m so excited about this bedroom update I have to share with you guys today!! It’s what I would like to call “the cherry on the top” of the bedroom. I have been waiting patiently for these wall sconces for a few weeks & they finally came in & you know I had to put them right up on the wall in our master bedroom…

There they are! The wall sconces I purchased from Schoolhouse Electric [HERE] I was super excited to get these in the mail, but also a little nervous as well because I went a little out of my comfort zone with them with the shade choice & the fact that they were plug-in. I was worried the striped shade might be a little extra and that the chord would really bug me, but guess what? I love both! I think they both give me the cottage vibe was going for. It was also a whole lot easier & less invasive to do plug-in wall sconces over the bed. & we can easily move them around if needed since they are not hardwired.

Some of you may have already noticed that these wall sconces coordinate really well with our new ceiling lights [HERE] we got from Schoolhouse as well with the brass base and the matching painted black stripe globe. I love the simplicity of these lights yet the bold vintage accent it adds to the space. We decided to frame this vintage framed print above the bed with the lights & I can’t believe we didn’t do this before. If you noticed we got rid of our nightstands because we were trying to cut back on the clutter & it always bothered me that the nightstands were in front of the windows along with the lamps blocking the natural light. Now that the nightstands are gone & we got rid of our lamps, I still wanted some convenient lighting & these wall sconces are way prettier than lamps & a lot more convenient! All in all I’m super happy with these lights & my choices with them & wouldn’t change a thing.

Now we are waiting on curtains, hardware, & a few more things for this room, but it’s getting prettier by the day!
