Loving it already! Can’t wait to see it all painted.

  2. Sandy says:

It’s gonna be beautiful, no doubt! We did a major renovation on our main level 3 years ago and I also wanted wide plank pine floors. The guy at the mill and my husband talked me out of it and that is still a huge regret 3 years later! They said it would dent and scratch way too easily but I guess they didn’t see MY vision of old farmhouse floors.I wish I would have been more insisten because the flooring we bought from Lowe’s, although really quite nice, dents just by looking at it! Live your decor dreams Liz and don’t let anyone sway your decisions because so far they have been perfect!?

  3. Emily says:

So you just laid the flooring next to the molding instead of taking the molding off and installing it on top of the floor? I feel like that may cause problems over time? The gap between them, floors contracting and expanding, etc. Is there a key reason why you guys went that route?

It is going to be amazing No doubt..

My husband laid this floor in the upstairs and we love it. He just coated it in a light white wash. Love it.

Wow! I just love it! We too have an old house and I was wondering if you have those nasty plaster walls? If so, what are your plans for the walls? I’m getting ready to removing layers of painted wallpaper off my upstairs! Its on the ceilings too! I ripped off a section and yikes! its nasty, even some cracks! Gotta love plaster! Thanks Sweetie! I look forward to your IG and blog everyday! You’re a gem! I’m only 2 hours away so I’m hoping to make a trip to your store soon!

  7. Rhonda says:

  10. Beth says:

It’s going to be beautiful! Are you just laying the floor next to the trim or did you take the trim out first? Also, how do you keep the cracks in between planks from collecting dirt and debris?
