Hi Friends & happy Memorial Day Weekend. It’s the unofficial kick off to summer this weekend & on Monday we get the honor of honoring those who gave it all so that we can live freely in this country. Being a military family the magnitude of memorial day is felt deeply. We aren’t honoring all military men & women on memorial day, though we should do that daily, but today specifically we are honoring those who gave it all for their country. We could never say thank you enough to them, their families, & those who felt their loss close to home, but honoring the day is a step in doing that. I hope you all enjoy this Memorial Day weekend whatever it is you are doing & that you take the time to pause and reflect on the true meaning of the holiday. We get to enjoy this weekend because of their sacrifice & that is a huge way we can truly feel the great weight of that thankfulness.
