I can’t believe I haven’t shown you this yet! It’s not like the biggest deal in the whole world, but I was so excited about this find because it fits our office so much better than the last table did. While out antiquing the other day I found a table that I never knew I needed. It was wonderfully chippy, beautifully painted white, & the perfect size for our community table area in the office…

Before we had a lovely pine table that was also an antique find almost 8 years ago. It was our old dining table & one of my favorites. I never want to get rid of this lovely pine table, but we will find another place in the house for it in our farmhouse. The office needed something a little skinnier and a little more petite in order to have optimal space to move around and work. This new white table is also a little higher than the old pine table which also makes it a better work surface because we can stand at the table easier while working when we want & our World Market office chairs [HERE] & can be adjusted to fit the table height.

This room is very dark because it only has that small window, but by looking at these photos right now I see 8 changes that I want to make in here today already. See.. always changing and tweaking to make it perfect. That’s how we do it around here… we improvise until we find the perfect piece & that’s just what we have to do while living in this fixer-upper of ours…The office is one of those ever-evolving rooms of ours. It’s a creative space that I keep trying to make into the perfect office to fit our needs… we are far away from it being “done”, but we are having fun hunting for the perfect treasures to make this our happy little room.
