I may have missed it, but what kind of drawer and cabinet pulls are you using? We’re building and I’m struggling with this choice. :-/

  4. Love, love, love it!! We built our new “old” farmhouse 7 years ago with a lot of shiplap, but now looking at your kitchen I want to add even more shiplap! And I know there really isn’t ever too much much…right?!

  5. I’m so happy for. They are gorgeous.

Liz Marie, I am so glad you are posting these pictures now. I live in AL and we are buying a house that was built in 1888. The kitchen is scary bad so it will have a entire makeover. This is exactly the look I want. I love the shiplap, the open shelving, the vent hood (is there really a vent in there?). All of it. I hope you don’t mind if I use some of your great ideas! Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Merry Christmas!

In my kitchen, my stove is in a corner just the same as yours is, and I’ve always felt bad because I’ve never seen another beautiful kitchen with one in the same spot! Thank you for making my day/year ? The house is really looking amazing inside and out. You and Jose should be very proud of what you’ve accomplished, as I’m sure that farmhouse is grateful that you guys are restoring it to an amazing place to call home?

Love it!!! I wanted the look of marble too, but didn’t want marble. Thank you for the info! I live in the Detroit area.

This is exactly what I have and love it. Last year we remodeled a 70’s split level. I painted my cabinets but splurged on this countertop with a waterfall edge going down the peninsula. My installers were great and did the waterfall with ease. I wish I had used the same in the bathroom. I did granite there and do not like it as well.

  13. So happy for you, Liz!! Congrats on surface space!??? And it’s beautiful!!
