Well, it finally happened to me. I caught the crud. A bad case of the crud. Sore throat, stuffed head, & body aches. I got it all. So I’m currently laying under a heating blanket drinking lots of tea & blowing my nose every three seconds & what better thing to do while you are down & out? Online shopping of course. Jose keeps asking me for a little Christmas list & so I decided to finally put one together & share with you some things that I’ve been loving lately & some things I’ve had my eye on. I’m a casual girl who lives on a farm & I’m in love with the classic things that will last a very long time with a few trendy pieces mixed in there. I could have kept going with this list which is shocking because I hate asking for things for Christmas, but I was having fun putting this list together for ideas for you guys. I hope you like some of them & that maybe you could give this list to those special people in your life for ideas for yourself or maybe this will even inspire you to get something special for someone in your life. What item is your favorite? I can’t choose just one, but I really have my eye on that sweatshirt, those sunnies, & that leather purse. We own that coffee maker & it’s my absolute favorite that we have ever owned. The Hearth & Hand wallet is my favorite wallet ever & I love that it looks vintage. We also own that tea pot from World Market [which is on sale right now] & I’m completely obsessed with how it looks in our kitchen. I am getting ready to do drop cloth curtains in my great room on the 8 foot sliding French door. First curtains I have put up because the door is so beautiful…but we seriously do need to get some sort of privacy in this main room of the house! I just read your article on yours…and wondered about your choice of wood rod vs heavier guage metal. Just don’t want to have the rod I already bought to sag. I got a drop cloth from Amazon. It is a 9×12 seamless drop cloth. I have yet to get it washed and with an HE washer, I cannot really bleach it white in lots of water because the washer doesn’t allow me to override its preset water level! Frustrating.
Also, I was delighted to see you live in the same town my niece and her family just moved to! Fun! And we aren’t all that far away either. More fun!
