Your home is so much more creative and your decor so much more interesting than anything I have ever seen in their magazine, that I cannot imagine why they wanted to re-do rooms. Your blog is all about your work and creativity…

It is good you learned some things, but don’t let their “take” on your home thwart your style.

I totally understand being around people is exhausting mentally and even physically because I’m the same way. Most people don’t understand this. I HAVE to be alone or anxiety sets in big time. My kids say I’m hiding in my cave, (my upstairs bedroom), but that alone time is vital so don’t ever apologize for needing it! Being introverted means that you can read people very well, a good thing. We introverts tend to think too much sometimes which leads to depression and anxiety (me too). I also find that bright colors in my house make me uncomfortable which is probably why you love your calming neutral palette. It took me many years to figure this out and accept my introverted me so I’m amazed that you have found this truth at such a young age!

Of course your house looks amazing as always, wish I had a house even half as big.
