Remember a few weeks ago when I blogged my Christmas rocking horse makeover [here]? Well, it started a domino effect that usually happens to me when I start painting things. You guessed it, it made me want to paint my entire rocking horse collection. So I painted 4 more of our Christmas rocking horses & I’m not even mad about it….

The Wood tones were warm and cute for this look, but repurposed Chalk Painted Christmas decor can transform your style each year. Here is the before…

I picked these horses up at HomeGoods & I really did love them, but I was craving a change & I wanted to make them a little more custom & a lot more “Liz Marie”. I chose to Chalk paint them just like I did the one I completed a few weeks ago with Maison Blanche white pepper & sealing them with the white lime wax… one of my favorite chalk paint combos of all time! It’s a neutral antique white look without being completely white…

I want to chalk paint all of the things now! I hope this shows you that you can customize the Christmas decor you find at stores like HomeGoods to fit your style. So don’t always look at the color or finish of the christmas decor but instead the shape or item instead. I love how these turned out & I’m so glad that I painted these little guys.
