Such an inspiration you are Liz Marie. I follow your blog and on ig from the middle part of Sweden. The first snow has fallen and I love it.

What a smart idea to buy cheap stuff and to paint it to get the look you want for your home. And if the taste changes, you can always repaint it again.

A dream would be to visit your shop one day but until that happens, I’ll keep being inspired here.

    Have a lovely weekend!

Lots of warm hugs from Sweden

Not only do I love the re-do on the rocking horse, I love the sign about your bed. I’ve been looking for something to place above my bed for years but haven’t found anything. That sign though…perfect. I may need to try and re-create it.

Thank you for all the inspiration!

I do this with thrift store finds all the time. I look for things that have good shape or texture. Everything looks better white!

I love your Christmas decor so much! And what you did with the horse! Great inspiration! Can you fill me in on where you got all your other Christmas decor? Such as your wreath? The little fir trees on your table? The garlands on your “fireplace”? Thank you!!!

I absolutely love it! Beautiful job! I have a few questions (if you wouldn’t mind answering) concerning white paint. Since you are an expert at rehabbing and painting furniture, I was wondering if you would be able to tell me what is the best brand to seal a piece after using chalk paint. I’ve used many wax sealers only to find it yellowed. I’m currently using Dutch Boy paint with Rustoleme clear Wax sealer. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong and would love to know what you think. Have a blessed evening~ Rachel
