I blogged our fall porch [here] & our Christmas porch [here] this past year that we have lived in our 80’s tri-level that many of you have maybe seen. If you have seen those posts then you know that we don’t really have a porch exactly. It’s more of a stoop. This is the first house that we have lived in that doesn’t have a vast porch, I mean every house in the south that we lived in had at least a 20 foot porch, but we aren’t in the south anymore friends so I decorated our little stoop for spring & I wanted to share it with you today. The weather was FINALLY beautiful & 80 degrees this past weekend so I snapped a few photos of my simple spring porch while we enjoyed the beautiful weather…

Seriously our little porch has made me so excited about the warm weather! How I got the look: I put a thrifted rocking chair on the stoop that I got this winter & placed two pillows from Target on it. The blue bike pillow matches my blue bike that I got from a garage sale so I thought that was perfect. I placed a vintage ladder behind the chair & hung a wreath from At Home on it. The rug, watering can, & lemon wreath on the door are also from Target. The “side table” is a table base that I found in a barn & I placed a topiary from At Home on it. The tin buckets are from World Market & that planter is from Marshalls. The door makeover you can see [here] & the light fixture you can find [here]. I chose to use all faux greenery this spring because we have been super busy & it makes maintaining the front porch super easy. You could of course use any greenery you choose. We will probably switch it out for the real stuff soon or just mix it in, but for now I’m kind of digging this.

Ok. Like always I probably over did it with the photos, but I just can’t help myself. I always thought I would hate having a stoop over a porch, but I think we really made it work for us & I hope it inspires you guys whether you have the biggest porch in the world or the tiniest.
