You have no idea how how excited i am that you used this technique to change your lamp bases….my master bedroom furniture is a similar color to your ‘before’ lamp but i would be so much happier with the after!! I’m going to experiment tomorrow. You have a wonderful day 🙂

Amazing transformation! I have never used wax, can it be put on furniture that already has poly finish? How long does it take to cure?

  4. Channing says:

Lookin Good! Please share a full post with us about the flea market you hosted.

  5. Alesha says:

They look great! I understand what you mean by “too orange” because in our old house I always felt our cabinet stain was “too orange” and everyone thought I was crazy… I’m so glad I am not alone! haha!

I am gaga for the Lime Wax, and I just happened to have bought a smaller version of that same lamp a few days ago! Great idea. Love your blog!

  7. Anne Pik says:

Seriously love the difference the lime wax made. Your blog is one of my favorites and thanks for your great ideas!

  8. Marg says:

Seriously love the look of the wax finish! Could you give us the name of the lamps at Target? Thanks!

  9. I have been thinking about doing this, too! I just bought a lamp that was the perfect shape, but the color is just a little bit off to me. I have been wondering if this would work. Off to buy some white wax! Thanks for sharing!!

  10. […] & the wreath & the garland are both from HomeGoods as well. You can see the posts for the lamps [here] & the antlers […]
