You guys!!!!!!!! I am so excited about this new light in our bedroom. Ok, so Jose & I got married when we were 19 [the audience gasps] yes, we were babies. Best friends who fell in love & tied the knot on a beautiful september day on a golf course in front of our close family & friends & the next day we moved to the steaming hot state of North Carolina. Yup, I was shocked. I had never felt heat and humidity like I did the day we moved from Michigan to North Carolina. Welcome to the south Liz. Get used to it. My point? Well, every master bedroom we had while we lived there, which was 3, had to have a ceiling fan in the master bedroom. If you didn’t you might pass out from heat stroke in the middle of the night. You southerners feel me. Well, now that we live in Michigan.. it still gets mighty hot.. today my jeep said it was 97 outside so my little booty stayed in the AC all day. The one thing we don’t have as much here is the humidity & at night it gets cooler here which is nice for this yankee girl because I really don’t think my blood was ever born to withstand humidity, but man I do miss the south though. What I am not going to miss though is the ceiling fan… NOTHING AGAINST THEM AT ALL. Promise. My heart just always wanted a chandelier hanging above our bed & Mr. LMB promised when we moved home that that would happen. and it did. He never breaks a promise. Of course our master bedroom is far from being finished, but our light is hung & that’s exciting, so here she is in all her glory..

There she is. My heart skips a beat when I look at it. I finally got my chandelier. Ps. For all you fan lovers, I love a good ceiling fan too, but we now have a floor fan that slides right in our closet in the morning so no worries, we are still fully fanned. The chandelier is from Painted Fox & it seriously is one of my favorite places to buy home decor. I have been shopping with them for a very long time, & guess what? I now have a curated collection there for a limited time & this light fixture is in my collection. I put it in there because after we got it in the mail I was so impressed with the quality & the size of it, I had to add it. The wooden beads are so charming & it’s just an awesome focal point & adds some great texture in our master bedroom.
The light fixture gives off the perfect amount of light which I was a little scared about because it’s a max 40w bulb, but to my surprise it’s light & bright in our room at night with just that light on. The one thing I wasn’t used to just because I’ve never had a light like this before is the shadows the light gives off in the room. I don’t hate it, just something I had never thought of. Here is how the light looks in our room at night. I’m not a professional photographer so hold your laughter until the end of the post…
Terrible photos, but you get the idea. I get asked all the time how much light our light fixtures give off.. hopefully this helps because my answer is usually “enough” & that’s no help right?

The best part about this light? Well, I already told you that it’s in my collection at Painted Fox, but right now the entire collection is 25% off. That’s awesome. & I really wanted you guys to be able to get this light for those of you who loved it as much as I did. You can click [here] to see my entire collection & use code LizMarieBlog to get 25% off for a limited time. This was a huge step in completing our master bedroom makeover, but we still have so much longer to go… I really want to try & make a lot of progress this week so I will be back with more updates soon. Let me know what you guys think about the new light in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. xx
Hi Liz, I love the new chandelier in your bedroom. It’s perfect for your style of home décor! I noticed the bulb is a clear bulb which I had the same problem giving me shadows. Then I tried the soft white and now no shadows. Try that and see if that help clear it up. It may not be the look you want with the clear bulb but it should help with the shadow of the beads. 🙂
Wow, the room is really coming together nicely!
It’s very pretty. Not your traditional chandelier, but none the less, a showstopper! It goes well with your bed. What does something like that cost? I’ve always done a crystal chandelier above my bed, and now that I’m in a new home I’m in the market for something different. I’m just not sure what it will be. It’s funny though, my hubby suggested a ceiling fan! I’m not sure about that…
Pretty sure this is going to be my favorite room you’ve done yet. The chandelier, the dressers/nighstands, the lamps, the bed, and that RUG is to die for.
Beautiful design Liz!
Hurry up and finish your room, I’m dying to see it all!!!!! So excited! ~Kim
Liz, I am thrilled for you guys. That chandelier is everything! How exciting! I must admit my heart skipped a beat when I read “Master Bedroom Makeover”. I can hardly wait to see how it turns out!
Super pretty Liz!
Swoon. That fixture is gorgeousness.
eek!! I love it so much! I was eyeing that thing forever and when you posted a pic on IG holding it, I couldn’t resist any longer!! it looks awesome in your room!! Can’t wait to see the rest of what you do in there!
It looks amazing!! Congratulations that’s so exciting for you. it looks like it’s hanging really low. I want a chandelier in our bedroom desperately but our ceilings aren’t very high I’m worried this is too large.
