I love love love that table! I wish I had the space for a farmhouse table in my apartment, but right now there’s no way it would fit. Maybe I can convince my husband to make a smaller version 🙂

Your new table fits the space well and looks so much better than the old. Great job hubby!

  3. Carol Bray says:

Love your new table! He did a great job on it.

  4. April says:

Liz, the table is gorgeous! I have a tall farm table and am having the most difficult time finding seating. Your table looks like it is on the tall side. Is it normal table size or tall like an antique farm table and if tall. How is the seating you have? TIA!!!

  5. He built a table while you napped????? My hubby, bless his soul, can’t even hammer a nail into the wall. He has other talents, but when it comes to DIY, he is not very handy. Love the table and the way you styled it!

  6. I love every single thing about the room, but the table is so pretty and I love the shutter on the bench! Gorgeous!

  7. That table is fabulous! There’s nothing like a hand built table to add character to a dining room.

Table is just lovely – a real success 🙂

  9. LizMarie says:

YES!!! I was just going to say that.. just build it a little smaller. Ours maybe should have been smaller because our dining room is a little packed. But that’s what’s great about these builds is you can customize them. I hope you get to build one soon.. let me know if you do! xx

  10. LizMarie says:

    Amen.. nothing like it!!! xx

  11. LizMarie says:

Thank you Gill! That means a lot 🙂

  12. LizMarie says:

Thank you Karen! That shutter bench is one of my favorite things that Jose has built. So thank you for that! xx

  13. LizMarie says:

LOL Michelle… your comment made me laugh so hard! I get it.. we all have talents.. now if I tried to build it myself it might not have been so pretty. 😉 thanks for the laugh! xx

  14. LizMarie says:

Thank you Terry! I agree!! 🙂 xx

  15. LizMarie says:

Hey April! It is “normal” height. It’s the same height as the other two tables that we have so I would say that is “normal” and our seating is 16 inches tall I believe. I think it looks taller too because it’s white on the bottom and the top is thinner. Hope that helps!!!xx

  16. The table looks great! I would like to have one but like the other guys, I only live in a studio type unit and there’s no way that kind of table would fit in. Thanks for sharing this one Liza Marie!

This is an interesting project Liza! I do hope that I can also find a similar chair that I could possibly use to my coming project. Thanks for sharing this one.

Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly.

I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried
it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.

Where did you purchase your chairs?
