Do you ever have an off day? That’s kind of a dumb question because I know we all do, but like a day where you just want to nap, the weather is gloomy, & literally all you can think about is napping & being a bum. That was today. I made myself get up and get ready to hang out with Mr. LMB this morning. We went out and did a few things like visit my mom at work & go out to lunch, but the second we walked back in the house I literally laid on the couch & instantly fell asleep. It was glorious. When I woke up from my epically long nap I still didn’t feel like doing much, but something that helps me get through those lulls is doing a little re-arranging & of course decorating. We have this dresser in our guest room & it just had a bunch of stuff sitting on it for lack of better words, but today I was determined to make it look a little prettier today to help my gloomy mood. We haven’t done anything else to this room yet, but now the guest room has a cute little simple eclectic vignette that made the room a little more cozy…

I started with this situation that I quick snapped a cell phone photo of. We still don’t have curtains hung, or a rug, or anything hanging on the walls, but I was determined to have this rabbit print be the first thing on the walls in this room. For many reasons, but one of them being I’m just obsessed with this rabbit art that I picked up at Home Goods a few years back.

Again, excuse the cell phone photo, but when I start working on something it’s usually spontaneous and there is no time for a photo shoot. Understandable right? This was a not so cozy guest bedroom vignette before I got my hands on it. So here is the end product after a few minutes of playing around with items that we already had…

Here is a little rundown of what I used. From the top that is an antique mantel clock that I picked up from someones junk pile & painted it gray. No face? No problem! The rabbit print is a find from Home Goods. The white jug & greenery were from Michaels. The suitcase is an antique find along with the books. & lastly the wooden tray & the lamp are good old Target finds.

& of course my little sidekick was by my side the whole time while I took the photos. The other dog was too, but she is a little camera shy. This one on the other hand is always up in everyones business. I love it. What do you think of our happy little guest room vignette? Do you do things like this when you are having an off day? It for sure made my day a little brighter. I hope you guys liked it! Let me know what you think in the comments below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram!

Great post hun .as usual.. Say I have a question. A few months back you had the cutest crocheted blanket on the bed.. It was huge yarn.. It looked like a Barbie blanket for a Barbie bed … It was so out of scale the loops were huge.. Honey I can not find that blanket anywhere… Where did you come across it??? Thank you for your help. Sincerely Lisa Carden ;0)

Ahhh I can’t remember which one it was? Was it on a regular post or Favorite Things Friday? I fit was in my house the only chunky loop throw we have is actually an antique that I found from a thrift store. Let me know if that’s the one! Sorry I’m not too much help!! xx

Thank you friend!!!
Yes I noticed that after I was done, I was like wow this looks like spring & I’m not mad about it! haha
This looks so fresh and pretty. It’s amazing how the stacked up pieces and the clock over the rabbit sign add so much height and interest to the dresser. it was the first thing I noticed and I’m going to remember it!!

You have done an awesome job on the dresser. The accessories really pulls everything together. I really like the rustic rabbit…….Spring is on it’s way. Can you tell me what kind of knobs are on the top drawers of the dresser? Are they glass or acrylic?
I always loved this dresser!! I think you did a great job adding some fun and light heartedness to the space. Hope tomorrow is better for you!
The dresser is adorable! I love it! The vignette you created on and above the sweet little dresser is delicious buttercream frosting on top! Everything from the mantel clock to the rabbit picture balanced out with your white pitcher and that great antique suitcase and everything else in between is pure art! I could sit and study vignettes like this and notice something artistic about the creation with every different glance. YOU DONE GOOD!
Found it hun Thank you !!!
