Old barn doors have so much character and I love how you give us the idea to look everywhere when we have a project. You decorate beautifully…thanks for the inspiration.

I love your coatrack. It’s such a pretty look with the patina and the shelving, great idea!

I really like this. Inspiration for my laundry/mud room. There’s always a need for cuteness and practicality – even (especially) in the laundry room. Great idea!

  7. Seriously so cute!!!! Great thinking about the coat hooks, I am always looking at things and knowing I can paint and decorate them to my liking, but tearing them apart and using “part” of something, Now THAT is genius! Thanks for always inspiring me ~Kim (oh and you and that ampersand LOL)

It looks so good! I don’t have much of an entryway either. You definitely have more wall space next to the door than I have so your entryway updates really work! Do your guests take their shoes off when they visit? Not sure if it’s just an Asian thing, but it bugs me how there’s no where visually pleasant for my guests to put their shoes!

  9. Linda J says:

Love the coatrack. Just L O V E it! I just have to ask this and it’s not about the coatrack.

Do you have any idea how beautiful you are? I mean, girl, you are drop dead gorgeous. And, Mr. LMB. Well, he ain’t hurtin’ in the least! Together one needs to wear sunglasses to see you two for the glow you send out. Just a damn beautiful couple. There I thunk it and I said it! lol

  10. This is so cute and rustic!! You guys did a great job and it looks so good in that space!

I love this!! Your house is so charming. Saw you over at MMS. We made a row of hooks a couple of years ago out of an old mantle. I didn’t use the shelf part because we do have a microscopic entry and I thought it would get knocked. Yours is so pretty!
