How cute is that? And so meant to be!!! I love it when things turn out like that! You have a great week, enjoy the beautiful kitchen, and your new sign. Take care, keep up the good work, as well as sharing with us ! ;0)

  2. Stacey says:

The sign is perfect in that spot. Love the size of the letters…not too big and not too small.

  3. Kim Dykman says:

Great look for the space and it really goes well with the light fixture! I would have never thought of it, but of course, that is why I love LIZ MARIE !!!!

  4. April says:

Hi Liz! I love the sign. I have something similar that I’m working on for our remodeled dining room. Question for you though – where, oh where did you find your coffee mug tree? I covet that thing. If I had to take a good guess though…I’m thinking HG? 🙂

  5. Lauren says:

It’s perfect! I hadn’t really seen your new kitchen yet either. Love every square inch!

  6. Suzanne says:

I am DYING!!!!!! That is so cute!!!! I swear if I bring any more letters into my house my hubs will have a fit.. but this would be so cute anywhere!!

    !

  7. i love it! can’t even tell the board is there.

  8. LizMarie says:

Good old World Market!! They are super cheap & we have two of them because I’m obsessed too!! Hope that helps & thank you so much for the sweet comment!! xx

  9. Karyn says:

That is just really, really perfect! I love your house, your style, so thanks for inspiring me!

  10. Oh I love this!! I just picked up a few of those letters from Michael’s last week as well! I got letters to spell out our last name, but haven’t found the perfect spot in our home for them just yet. 🙂 love your blog!

  11. Heather says:

So cute, Liz!! I purchased an “M” a couple of weeks ago to display in our guest bathroom. They are really cute letters, and cheap! I was wondering if you have considered adding knobs to your cabinets? I think black knobs would really make the cabinets pop! 🙂

It seems like serendipity! Those very letters fit the space they were intended for EXACTLY! Missing a “T”? Not a problem, it was meant for a “T” to be found just a short drive away. I think your KITCHEN sign was looking for you rather than you hunting for it!

  13. Oh my gosh, I almost bought those the other day. I was trying to spell SPRING but the last N was bent and wouldn’t stand up on its own. Great idea!

  14. emily says:

I love the sign! and i love all the jute rugs throughout your house! where did you find them?

  15. The letters are great and really make an awesome addition to your kitchen. I am really crushing on your farm sink and the light above. I am sure you really enjoy this space. I know what you mean with Michael’s, I would also probably drive to another store to find that special something I was looking for.

  16. I love it! Its so cute! I might have to do this in my kitchen.

love it! I’m just recovering from some evil sickness and the sun is out so cabin fever has set in! There’s a fabulous junk shop a town away from here that sells a variety of metal letters I”ve been meaning to visit! Now I have inspiration to do so!

  19. really really adorable!!!!

  20. Holly says:

I love your kitchen countertops! We are building a home and I’m using white shaker cabinets with white subway tile w/gray grout and we’re still searching for a marble look alike countertop. Can you tell me what yours are? Thanks! 🙂

  22. Looks so great! And the kitchen is gorgeous! I am super jealous of that amazing farmhouse sink!

  23. Joy says:

These countertops look identical to the marble look-alike I chose for our new house! It’s a quartz, LG Viatera Rococo. Liz didn’t respond, but I would bet money they are the same! Looks beautiful!!

  31. […] The kitchen is super simple & filled with rustic elements & winter greens. In the corner I used an olive bucket from Target filled with garland from Michaels. The lamp & sign are from World Market & the mugs are from West Elm. By the sink I used a metal container & soaps from World Market along with the same olive bucket situation as in the corner. Above the stove is a wreath from HomeGoods [some people freaked out about a wreath over a stove. Do not worry I use that stove daily & no fire hazards were ever spotted.] On our giant antique scale I have some candlesticks from Michaels along with some winter greens from the Target dollar spot. The light fixtures are from Home Depot & that kitchen sign was a DIY you can find [here]. […]
