It feels really weird blogging this room in November because the room is very light, bright, & very springy. But as we enter into November we need to start saying goodbye to this lovely rental of ours because we leave North Carolina in 25 days! Can you believe it? Last time I showed you this room on the blog it was looking a lot different than it is today. After a trip to Ikea a few months ago I transformed the room with some lighter fall decor pieces to completely transform the space.
Here is a little glimpse of what it looked like in June this past summer…
I really loved the room that way as well, but we all know I change things in our house constantly so change was inevitable. I think the light & bright fall decor guest room is really welcoming to guests as well!
Oh man.. I feel like pictures do not do this bright & cheerful guest room any justice. Or maybe it’s just my lack of photography skills. Either way, I wish you could all come over & visit so you could check it out! I love how laid back & casual this room is & I love how this is one of the only rooms in our home with a lot of color. A few of the sources for the room: floral duvet, rug, white lamp, hanging flower pots: Ikea. Bunny pillow: Craftberry Bush. Bed: dumpster diving. Ha ha, I am the same way! Every time my family members come over they know something will be different in my home! I am forever making changes in my décor! I get bored and I also like to try new things. Did you already have the green touches like the furniture and some accessories already painted that way or did you just paint them to go in the room? Love that shade of green! Great job with the room!
