I’ve realized lately that I had changed up our lovely card catalog & that I never shared the simple updates on the blog. I’ve been doing a lot of fall posts lately, but this is one area in our house that I have not gone fall crazy on & I thought that would be refreshing today for those of you who are a little tired of fall things daily. This card catalog is still my favorite piece in our house, & still my greatest thrift store find ever! we still have not done any work to the piece & it basically just sits here in this hallway & makes me happy. I made the decor on the piece super simple, because let’s face it, this piece speaks for itself.
So simple & lovely. I love how rustic everything looks. The artwork is some DIY vintage science posters that we made that you can find {here}. The card catalog, the fan, & the books are all vintage finds. The plant & the lovely planter are ikea finds.. yay Ikea! The glass cloches are Marshall’s finds from a long time ago along with the two plants inside. The two letters that I made bookends were on our DIY corner gallery wall in our last house. & Oh my goodness the best decor on the card catalog is that antler wood plaque by my amazingly talented friend Heidi of Antlers & Roses. It’s my most favorite antler artwork ever & if you want to be inspired or purchase one of her wood plaque designs {she has so many amazing ones to choose from} You should go follow her Instagram {here}. I love the way you can mix the vintage pieces in with the new, and how you create projects that match your style. Oh, and I LOVE that card catalog! I have a miniature table top version at my desk and it is great for holding pencils and other office supplies. So glad you shared it with us!
