I love Ikea too. Their picture frames are great and cheap. We also buy their plants since they are so cheap and nice to add to each room. Can’t wait to see your hanging plants and how you have styled your master.

I am going to Ikea in Chicago this weekend! Its a 5 hr trip for me 🙁 but I plan on getting a carfull 🙂 I hope to redesign my sons room as a birthday surprise, and pick up some of my favorite sheepskin ….but now you also gave me MORE things on my “must have” shopping list….Thanks Liz! (I’m sure my husband will say that sarcastically …haha!) ~Kim

  3. Ikea is about an hour and a half away so I stock up too! Love their plants and rugs. Pillow cases are a must and you can never walk away without the cinnamon rolls.

We have the same striped duvet in our master bedroom and we love it! We make 1-2 trips to Ikea a year, most of the time during the summer when we are on that side of the state for a Tigers game! 🙂

  5. Erin says:

I just love that striped duvet! I picked it up for our guest room, but the frequency of the stripes hurt my eyes to look at, so I had to return it! So happy it works for you!!

I lived in Charlotte for 5 years and loved it. South Park mall is my go to shopping area.
I wish you would do a post on your hair, especially how to do that bun!! 🙂

I’d recognize that Starbucks on East Blvd anywhere! I used to study there when I was in college. If you go back for a trip, you MUST go to The Sleepy Poet. It’s a gigantic antique mall, and it’s right up your alley! There are so many goodies to be found there. Love your haul!

  8. Kristin Q says:

Wow after seeing some of these items I know I need to make a trip to Ikea sometime soon! So much pretty stuff. Keep up the inspiration, I love your design style 🙂

  9. I’m heading to IKEA tomorrow so this has me excited! I haven’t been to the Charlotte IKEA yet but we visit there several times a year since my in-laws live there. It’s a beautiful city! Lots of fun things to do.

  10. I love all your great finds! I’ve had that clock through 3 apartments and I still love it – a classic 🙂

  11. Nicole B. says:

Such cute finds. I haven’t been to ikea in a while so I am definitely due for a big trip. Glad you had fun!

  12. Dana says:

Here in NJ, we are lucky…I have 2 Ikeas within an hour of my house! However, we often don’t go as they get crowded! On the last trip I too bought the lantern. I also got a 3 set of small raffia baskets with lids. Both are sitting on my dining room table. I’m looking forward to filling my lantern with some small white pumpkins for the fall!

  13. We just moved to Charlotte in January, and I’ve been to IKEA all to often! One of our favorite little spots is Amelie’s Bakery in North Davidson. They’re quirky style is so fun and their french pastries are to die for!

  14. What awesome scores! I love IKEA and that duvet for you guest room is beautiful!

  15. Oh, I love all the things you bought. That are all things I would maybe also buy myself. Especially the duvet for your guest room looks great. And that table lamp! I think about this lamp for so long now… But thankfully I have three IKEA stores in my city (Thanks to being European. Sorry, not sory ;)), so I can go there quick and buy one when I finally decide 😉

    Love, Midsommarflicka

  16. Jenn says:

Fantastic find! I am lucky/unlucky enough to have an IKEA about an hour away. I end up grabbing way more than I need to when I go 😉
Can’t wait to see the reveals!!!

  17. Anna says:

I luv IKEA too! We have one like 5-10 minutes away from our house. I think sometimes I take it for granted. But I’m definitely planning a trip this weekend. You’ve inspired me to change the bedding in my bedroom and the two guest bedrooms as well. I need something fresh and airy. Luv your style and everything that you do!

  18. Courtney says:

I don’t suppose you could tell me what the name of the plant in the
KARDEMUMMA plant pot is? It looks to be of the fig family, but I can’t tell! I love it!
